I am. I'm taking U.S. history. There are a total of four courses, and I'm almost done with the second and do intend to continue and complete all four. Then I'll see if I want to take some other subjects. I'm just doing this to keep my brain from rotting and to pass time. I'm not working toward a degree or anything like that.

I tried to. But, Hadley won't accept my applacation. I send it away, but get no responce what so ever. Try to call, and can't find a working number anywhere. I guess like the song says, "I don't need no education" "I don't need no self control"

Have you gone to hadley.edu? There should be a phone number there. I have talked to someone in the office, so I know it works. Let me know if I can help.

I had considered their birdwatching course, as they partner with Cornell Universitn - a reputed name in ornithology. However, the course description sounded like a beginner get-acqainted-with-nature course. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I do with they'd offer it in MP3 rather than cassette.
At any rate, they do seem to produce a lot in Braille. I found out about them from this site, ironically, and went to the web site / did my research there.

I took a personal psychology course from them, but it was way too easy for me. I know they've helped people though, my mom took Braille from them and said she enjoyed the course, so I guess it depends on what you want to take. I never had a bad experience with them, I just thought the particular course I took wasn't very challenging, and honestly, it was a waste of time. But it did help me graduate (I was in high school at the time, and used it to get a credit.)

The history course I'm taking is also quite easy, but after all it is high school level, and I'm beyond high school. I'm taking these courses just to pass time and give me some variety in my daily activities. However, even though they are easy, they are refreshing my memory about history and, I think, I'm learning some things I didn't learn in high school.

i had to switch over to the Adult Continuing Education program since I graduated from high school in 2006. after I get done with this entrance assignment, I'll get started on a basic Spanish course. I"m taking this just to refresh my memory. It should be easy since I took Spanish from seventh to eleven grade. I look forward to it.
